Oh, completely forgot what download stream Winamp handles. M3U is the one to download via right-click → "Save Target As" but does it handles that? Don't know. Luckily you can still get it → http://www.winamp.com/index.html

Myself, have to be careful with downloadable streaming. My last laptop couldn't exactly handle that after October 2012, and afterwards downloading anything became impossible because even attempting to open up the Save As window on it to download or upload anything got me a computer-crashing blue screen

Lazarus doesn't seem to mind tracks getting shorter (as he told me months ago in a previous BFTD show), but no doubt Spotify is a big reason for this. Yet I still made melo prog house-related label discog playlists with them, still have to use them and (mostly) Google Play Music for mixed compilations because the laptop I have now has no CD drive, and my next one won't have one either

Yeah CD drives are a thing of the past with Cloud and remote storage. As with most things, technology moves on. I'll just have to not be a luddite about it and embrace it. I'll still keep to my 5 minute rule. Nothing in my sets less than 5 minutes start to finish. Yeah i think i'll try the Winamp option next time for listening. better sound too.
