I know, I know, I have never used to it in English In Czech, we almost never use "day time" in greetings, we mostly use literally "good day". But it's the same in Polish I thinkYeah, I know, but we just met today, so it's a good morning, hehe
Yeah. If you see someone for the first time on a given day you say "good say" (Dzień dobry. Dobry den in Czech?). If you see the same person again, you don't say it. You can say "good evening" (Dobry wieczór. Dobry vecer?) in the evening when seeing the same person.
