Yeah to be perfectly honest, that's a lot worse than it'll get here.

do they salt the roads and pavement there? Sometimes there is more salt than snow, and it just destroys your boots :(

I'm wondering about these tracks :lolz: do you choose them because of their message (lyrics) too?

Yeah they do if it snows, just for public safety and all that. They're not great at salting the roads at good times here though, because the gritters can't actually go out in the snow , so they have to try and anticipate the snow and often fail badly.

what have you in mind for EOYC Paul? :hmmm:

If I was choosing a set of vocal tracks to build up to something I might think about the lyrics, but for building a monthly radio show I'm mainly thinking about the set progression and just choosing tracks I like the sound of. Because the tracks are still quite fresh from the latest round of promos, I've had chance to get a grip on them sounding nice, but not all of the meaning yet. To make a set with more vocal meaning I'd need more time to become emotionally attached to the tracks in some kind of way.

I will probably play some of my favourites from the show this year and a few of my own tracks and remixes from the year as well. It all depends on how it goes though when I sit down to sort it out.

:bravo: I was just thinking about how so many "shows" now are nothing more than a series of random tracks cobbled together with no regard for anything like progression, low, creating a mood, or making interesting transitions. That's not a dj set, it's a playlist.

Allright. The first two were in some way that's why I asked. The sound was great in both too but also the lyrics:-)
