lol ... may I make one last attempt?

This is how we can play this game actually ....

For a given word ... say

Next .... we have an option to replace any one letter and form a new word .... but we shall change only one letter

Thus Next can be Text or Nest

If you find that there is a dead end, please add one letter or reduce one, otherwise NOT.

Also, the letters can be rearranged to make a new word. example "Nest" can be "Sent"

in that case i will try to get rid of the "gh" that has been there for too long and will go with "richer" by also removing one letter, if that's ok with everyone :P
