10. Astrix: Harbour Candy (Remix)

Israelian psytrance superstar Astrix has just released his long waited new album 'Red Means Distortion'. It's filled with super energetic 140+ bpm uplifting psy stuff with many highlights and this is the best in my opinion. The main riff does remind quite a bit of Man With No Name's 'Teleport' from 1995 but I guess Mother Earth loves recycling? ;) Great stuff never the less and definitely shows that Astrix is still the king of this kind of psy. Had a pleasure of opening for him here in Helsinki early this year and he rocked big time.

Real Name: אסטריקס / Avi Shmailov

Profile: Psychedelic Trance DJ and producer specialising in the sub-genre of Full On Psychedelic Trance.

He was born in Georgian USSR in Caucasus on 05/12/1981 and grew up in Tel Aviv, Israel 1992 as a Mountain Jew. He began recording music under the name Astrix in 1997, sometimes misconceived to be taken from the "Asterix" comic books.

thanx for a great show (even though i came @ the very end of the show). i have to say that ive admired your work in the past (even though alot of people didnt give ya credit for it) so i want to thank you for all the hard work that you have put into your dj sets as well as into your productions.
