08. Super8 & Tab feat. Jan Burton: Empire (Mike Shiver's Garden State Mix)

I've been super happy while watching this finnish duo's recent success and I think the 'Empire' album will make them even more fixed figures in the global scene. The album has many great vocal pop hooks and Empire is perhaps the catchiest of them all. Jan Burton was with the guys at the album release party in Helsinki and was such a great character. Didn't know before that he was the voice of Syntax together with ex-Fluke member Mike Tournier. Mike Shiver delivers here superb, summery, happy, uplifting mix which seems to sound everytime better to me which is always a sign of a great track. Nice to see also two Anjuna tracks in one show!

im one hour flight away so not too bad but still have to stay over night but yeah im sure id be having fun :mml:

Id probably have a flat in helsinki....not too confirmed yet because im already calling in alot of favors to stay there in the beginning of december to watch the innebandy world cup. Maybe we can work something out? I´d love to have a different NYE compared to the usual

There's been recently a fair amount of proper pumping party tech which I love playing in any big room set and this is on eof this year's best ones. I first heard it at Gareth Emery's album release event in UK and it instantly catched my attention. Simple, groovy, catchy and huge. Enough said.
