Apple - Google Afbeeldingen zoeken :book:
Checked a shop with Apples lately - the coolest machines, and the Operating System is much more reliable as the M$ one :) Considering one next your too, btw

not essentially, Macs OS just needs less maintenance, but your expandability and software choices are limited.
even the hardware is now the same as on PCs.
also why pay over the odds if you can have it legally for free, and less geeky than it used to be.

yep - the Linux alternative I've (have and have had) as well. KUbuntu at work. Just for laptops I'm not sure. And why I'm still 'paying over the odds' ? Because pretty much software is still Windows based. Yesterday though, I found a nice comparison site. There you can compare programs for each platform - the Windows ones, and the Linux alternatives !

-> The table of equivalents / replacements / analogs of Windows software in Linux. (Official site of the table)

I know what you mean, I'm stuck with MS too just for the music apps. Live for Linux would be great and Sonar. But running them virtually is bad and causes probs. Still no reason to go the Mac route, so many freebees you're missing out on that are simply not written for Mac.
But thats personal preference and philosophy.

Nice link. :grinning:

Oh thanx wailo:hug: I have the software in the house somewhere, the question is where. I never throw anything out like that so its here. But even if I had it i don't think I could get it to work because the machine wont start up properly. It just switch's its self off. Anyway i'm using this one now, so its not so bad. I'm not very good with anything technical. I leave it to my son but he's not here right now. But thanx anyway. I appreciate it:grinning:

great choons! :choon:
