A lot of people would argue that the reason for the human race's success is that greed. The need for more, better, faster drives innovation... but we've also turned our attention away from spriritual fulfillment to toy collections. Fast cars, fat bank accounts, fab houses and trophy wives are men's scorecards.

And I agree with you, the list of requirements for wives is too long, but I want to suggest that men do have some pressures other than shaving... all men are brought up wtih the "bread-winner" concept and that does exert significant stress on the male psyche.

i understand your point but isnt it bit easier for a woman todays world still in generally looking? before u had to stay in "between fist and stove" if marriage wasnt happy.... there wasnt way out of it? atleast u have that chance now. I think thats good for women who are living in that kind of life.

but yes rates are rising and thats sad... it has become easier to divorse but i still dont think ppl are divorsing just for fun.

No. It's not fun. But it IS lazy. It's too easy to get in and out of a relationship. No one has to work at them anymore. Why bother? Tired of your wife? Dump her and her kids. Tired of your husband? Dump him and find out how miserable life can REALLY be alone with children.

Regardless, everyone loses. Everyone.
