going to a quick restart of the pc, maybe will solve the resolution issue again, hopefully

sapphire is a brand name , could probably be an old 6950 Videocard (wanna go to system info and look that one up ? )

he probably doesn't indeed have an SSD in his PC mine would have restarted already 3 times

a HDMI cable will go fine and will work op 1080p resolution as it will be seen as a second screen
