CyberMix, I have a DJX-400. I think it's a really good mixer, and quite affordable.
Isn't mixing with Traktor all too easy sometimes? If you feel it that way, try using turntables. They really drain your energy.

Very nice setup, dude. I'll try to post a pic of my gear soon.

If you watch my age on my profile maybe you can imagine that when I'm started to djing I could'nt use mixing software :P , but I started with Lenco turntables, a bit more difficult to use then Technics, Vestax, Numark.... :)

Sincerely I mean that the Behringer mixers have an awful sound, I use this only in few times for some technical needs.
See ya.

Oh, indeed. But if you don't have money, the DJX-400 can really prove to be efficient. If I had more money, i'd buy an Allen & Heath, but as I don't... well, i'll just have to keep my Behringer mixer.

Dude, I actually have a direct drive turntable and a belt driven Stanton STR8-20 one. They really suck. Got Traktor 4 running on my shithole_ computer too (imagine, AMD Athlon XP 1,61 GHz, 128 RAM, 18 GB HDD).

Do you know why it drains my energy up? :wow:

My mixer arrived yesterday: Synq SMX2.. damn, what a lovely thing! (L) my cd-decks and HP will arrive this week (Reloop RMP2 & HDJ-1000) can't wait any longer

I do not have "gear" as of yet but I do plan to use JBL monitors. I HIGHLY recommend these:

Amazon.com: JBL Control 1x Personal Monitor Speaker System (Pair): Electronics

For the price, you can't beat them.

For now, I use them for a four channel stereo setup in my room so I can hear the Tv/music while in bed. Mate these with a good subwoofer and you will be set.

For software, I am using Sony Acid Pro and Reason 3.0. Reason is sort of hard to learn. I have been making House beats on it, just toying around. I have these as my pc speakers:

Amazon.com: Logitech Z-4 2.1 Speaker System with Subwoofer ( 970175-0403 ): Electronics

They are okay I guess.

That's pretty much it. I will update once I get some "gear."
