The Henry Saiz remix of Lamur was one of my favorites from 2009 and this "AM" mix from Guy J's new album 1000 Words takes the best of the previous mixes and builds a sublime, emotional ambient soundscape oozing summery warm vibe. Futuristic yet feeling deeply organic and man-made. And this album definitely shows why album as a formate is still very much relevant. Great journey through different styles and genres and surely features many tracks which wouldn't have cut it as singles. Highly recommended for anyone digging deeper prog and tech vibes.

03. Liquid Nations: Laguna Nights (Airwave Remix)

How does summery trance sound like? Something like this I'd say! Airwave aka Laurent Veronnez must be one of the hardest working and most productive producers in trance - ever. Often his output is tad too banging for my taste but his deeper and more progressive tracks under various aliases are often great. Riff here reminds me of Winkee's 'Will I Discover Love' from 2006.

Yeah all good here. I was in Finland by coincidence to see the final. Here in NL they didn't even mention the entire championship in the news or papers or anything. I only got aware of it on Friday night when the pilot on my plane announced Finland had taken a 1-0 lead against Russia. Amazing sometimes how different our sports cultures are in Europe...

haha but in London was one pub that had a queue outside 1.5 hours before the game! the atmosphere had been awesome.... well 90% of them were Finnish :)
